Allright fans (thanks Dad!!) I'm back at it. Been a pretty boring spring so far, but lot's of news none the less. I suppose I will start with bad news.

This is a pretty big blow to the bullpen. For starters, it means Aaron "I want to start" Heilman will now be the 8th inning bridge to Billy Wagner. Heilman has some nasty stuff, but it's his attitude about the bullpen that leaves a ball of nervousness in the stomach. What I hope this DOESN'T mean is that we will see more of Jorge Sosa and his 8+ ERA. I wonder if Omar has another trade up his sleeve to help solve some of these problems. Couple the bullpen trouble with the fact that the Mets have had a rough spring record wise, and this could have some potential for the stupid Brave's to be the front runner again.

In the good news category, Ollie Perez has pitched well this spring hopefully harnessing some of the talent that has made him a perpetual "potential ace" while never quite reaching that status. Congrats to Mike Pelfry for making the rotation.
